words of wisdom from a 7 yr. old

I'm sitting in the corner of my room, just sitting there, and I asked my brother who is sitting on my computer, "Amir, I'm sad... what should I do?"

He said, "Do something that makes you happy."

... duh! -smiles-

I think caterpillars are cool. -smiles-

Why are they cool? Because they make me smile!

Why do they make me smile? Because they are cool!

al-Hamdu liLlah for caterpillars.

... I'm sitting with my baby brother right now reading books and looking at caterpillars, life is good, al-Hamdu liLlah, this is happiness.

.. he told me to put while I was typing this, "put Amir is cool."

okay.. so here you go habiby... AMIR IS COOL!

I am going to turn this blog into something for me and my baby brother to share, ya Rab, a purpose -smiles- in sha' Allah.

Jannah in front of me

subHan Allah... Today, when i was walking i thought of something...

What if Jannah was right in front of me?

So, I continued to walk with that in mind, and subHan Allah, it was as if my whole world changed, all I could think about was ~I'm walking towards Jannah~. Some people were playing music, and I thought ~subHan Allah, i'm about to hear Jannah's music~ then of course I saw this lady walking towards me totally exposing herself wearing very little clothing, and subHan Allah, with the thought of Jannah in front of me, she seemed like such a huge distraction, I felt like I wanted her to disappear from my path. It was like, nothing in front of me really mattered, just that goal, even the flowers I always pass by, I thought, ~you are so beautiful, but i'm about to see the flowers of Jannah~. I was filled with happiness inside, filled with this sense of wanting Allah pleased with me, al-Hamdu liLlah I love my life it is so sweet when i think like this, but subHan Allah, i just want to be assured paradise... what an amazing reward, i want it.

Wonderful Child... WONDERFUL... WONDERFUL...

I baby sat a child who listened to everything, EVERYTHING, and not only everything, but he was always so glad to do what I asked of him... [very rare]... In return, when he asked for anything I was at his service 100% !!! 100% !!! because of how well he treated me, anything this child wanted I was ready to do it for him, and gladly, joyfully too! I wanted him to be 200% happy... 300%... i dunno, but ya Allah, oh my Allah, I wish I could have given the child the world for how much I loved him for Allah's sake.. I learned a lesson from him... that's how I want to be, I want to be like that child.. i want to beee.. i want.. sigh...

So what about with Allah with those servants who listen? Who humble their souls into piety, patience, and obedience? When those servants ask of Allah... Allah is the best of those who rewards with goodly rewards. al-Hamdu liLlah, I want to listen, I want to be the best ever... I surrender my emotions and all that I want, I can't get it without Allah's will anyways, so I surrender, and Allah knows best.

al-Hamdu liLlah for al-Qur'an.. -smiles-

In the Name of Allah, the Ever-Merciful, the Mercy-Giving!

1.
Lā 'uqsimu biyawmi al-Qiyāmahti.

I swear by the Day of Resurrection;

2.
Wa Lā 'uqsimu bin-Nafsi al-Lawwāmahti.

And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer).

3.
'Ayaĥsabu al-'Insānu 'allan najma`a `ižāmahu.

Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?

4.
Balá Qādirīna `alá 'an Nusawwiya banānahu.

Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers.

5.
Bal yurīdu al-'Insānu liyafjura 'amāmahu.

Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins.

6.
Yas'alu 'ayyāna Yawmu al-Qiyāmahti.

He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?"

7.
Fa'idhā bariqa al-Başaru.

So, when the sight shall be dazed,

8.
Wa Khasafa al-Qamaru.

And the moon will be eclipsed,

9.
Wa Jumi`a ash-Shamsu wa al-Qamaru.

And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.)

10.
Yaqūlu al-'Insānu Yawma'idhin 'ayna al-Mafarru.

On that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?"

11.
Kallā Lā Wazara .

No! There is no refuge!

12.
'Ilá Rabbika Yawma'idhin al-Mustaqarru.

Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day.

13.
Yunabba'u al-'Insānu Yawma'idhin bimā Qaddama wa 'akhkhara.

On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions).

14.
Bali al-'Insānu `alá nafsihi başīrahtun.

Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds].

15.
Wa law 'alqá ma`ādhīrahu.

Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds).

16.
Lā tuĥarrik bihi Lisānaka Lita`jala bihi.

Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur'an, O Muhammad) to make haste therewith.

17.
'Inna `alaynā Jam`ahu wa Qur'ānahu.

It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad) the ability to recite it (the Qur'an),

18.
Fa'idhā Qara'nāhu fa ittabi` Qur'ānahu.

And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad through Gabriel], then follow you its (the Qur'an's) recital.

19.
Thumma 'inna `alaynā bayānahu.

Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you,

20.
Kallā bal tuĥibbūna al-`Ājilahta.

Not [as you think, that you (humankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world,

21.
Wa tadharūna al-'Ākhirahta.

And leave (neglect) the Hereafter.

22.
Wujūhun Yawma'idhin Nāđirahtun.

Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant).

23.
'Ilá Rabbihā Nāžirahtun.

Looking at their Lord (Allah);

24.
Wa Wujūhun Yawma'idhin bāsirahtun.

And some faces, that Day, will be Basirah (dark, gloomy, frowning, and sad),

25.
Tažunnu 'an yuf`ala bihā fāqirahtun.

Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them;

26.
Kallā 'idhā balaghati at-Tarāqī.

Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit),

27.
Wa Qīla man Rāqin.

And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?"

28.
Wa Žanna 'annahu al-Firāqu.

And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death);

29.
Wa at-Taffati as-Sāqu bis-Sāqi.

And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded)

30.
'Ilá Rabbika Yawma'idhin al-Masāqu.

The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)!

31.
Falā Şaddaqa wa Lā Şallá.

So he (the disbeliever) neither believed (in this Qur'an, in the Message of Muhammad) nor prayed!

32.
Wa lakin kadhdhaba wa tawallá.

But on the contrary, he belied (this Qur'an and the Message of Muhammad) and turned away!

33.
Thumma Dhahaba 'ilá 'ahlihi yatamaţţá.

Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself!

34.
'Awlá laka fa'awlá.

Woe to you [O man]! And then (again) woe to you!

35.
Thumma 'awlá laka fa'awlá.

Again, woe to you! And then (again) woe to you!

36.
'Ayaĥsabu al-'Insānu 'an yutraka Sudan.

Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?

37.
'Alam yaku Nuţfatan min manīyin yumná.

Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth?

38.
Thumma Kāna `alaqatan fakhalaqa fasawwá.

Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion.

39.
Faja`ala minhu az-Zawjayni adh-Dhakara wa al-'Unthá.

And made him in two sexes, male and female.

40.
'Alaysa Dhālika biqādirin `alá 'an yuĥyiya al-Mawtá.

Is not He (Allah Who does that), Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is Able to do all things).

4) "And that Allah may purify the Believers [through trials] … Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?" (3:141)

I keep thinking.. al-Hamdu liLlah

Al-Hadid .. verses 22-23

22.

Mā 'aşāba min Muşībatin fī al-'Arđi wa Lā fī 'anfusikum 'illā fī Kitābin min qabli 'an Nabra'ahā 'inna Dhālika `alá Allāhi yasīrun.

No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (the Gaurded Tablet), before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah.

23.

Likaylā ta'saw `alá Mā fātakum wa Lā tafraĥū bimā 'Ātākum wa Allāhu Lā yuĥibbu kulla Mukhtālin fakhūrin.

In order that you may not be sad over matters that you fail to get, nor rejoice because of that which has been given to you. And Allah likes not prideful boasters.
