subHan Allah... if only we were united.. it's as if we are a sleeping giant
?
Where is the unity and solidarity from the leaders of the Muslim world, for the people being killed by Zionism ?
Every Islamic nation in the world should unite and decree that if Israel attacks one of them then she will have to fight all of them! The Islamic world should tell Israel that her soldiers will have to go street to street through the entire Muslim world and that there will be a stiff resistance from every home along the way.

ups and downs
with this whole process of marriage i have hit some ups, and some downs..
ups in the sense that with the person i am really interested in, i have only tasted sweetness, i only know happiness...
however, with my parents it has been bitter, and with my family bitter... and what some friends had to go through.. bitter..
i'm wondering.. am i being selfish? am i doing what is right? that's the main question : is what i am doing pleasing Allah?
am i pleasing Allah with this?
subHan Allah, at times i think so, and at times i just don't know.
i think so because i see benefit in this getting to know, in this type of relationship, i feel like i am going to go into something that will help me increase in my iman, and my `ibadah...
but then i see that i have failed with my family, that they are increasing in anger and frustration with me, that i am hurting them...
and i'm stuck in the middle... and so i pray for some type of refuge, something to fix everything... some type of answer to all of this...
am i so arrogant to think that everything should work in one way and only one way, that i should have what i want, and i'm going to work on it until i get it? am i being arrogant?
my mind is clouded with thoughts, and i feel like i simply don't know what to do anymore, and if i'm doing anything right... i need things to get cleared up, it's as though everything is blurred.
i think i know what i want to do.. but at times i'm not sure...
ya Rabbi... you said that the victory is near...

Happiness... and lots of it -smiles-
bismi Allahi, wa al-salatu wa al-salamu `ala rasulullah.. -smiles-
al-Hamdu liLlah, always al-Hamdu liLlah, and al-Hamdu liLlah for everything ... ya`ni everything!!!
I realized no matter how difficult a situation is when a person knows that Allah is with them, and that they have the support of those that he or she cares about, that's all that is needed for ... well, happiness. -smiles-
al-Hamdu liLlah, I'm optimistic, I'm strong, I'm happy... -smiles-... and al-Hamdu liLlah.
So, days event that's worth noting:
My students for the summer program call me Im Cooler... (are they trying to say I'm cool?) it doesn't make sense, but I love it! It makes me feel good. Eh, it kind of makes sense why they call me that, cuz I tease the children so much they figured they might as well tease me back. I call one child Abu Football, another Im Tinkerbell... heh, and on and on. OOH, my favorite on is Abu Brrrroccli (you have to roll the "r") -smiles-
al-Hamdu liLlah.
-smiles- I'm in a good mood, al-Hamdu liLlah.

Thankful...Grateful...Comforted
What an amazing week it has been.
One of my students had decided to wear the headscarf, she called me up the first day and it's unfortunate that family members are giving her a hard time with it. May Allah strengthen her, Amin. I'm so proud of her, I hope she continues the way that she is going. She surely is excelling. subHan Allah, a family is supposed to strengthen each other towards what is good, it really bothers me to think that anyone could be so ungrateful to Allah that they sell their din for the acceptance of people. ya Rabbi, use that student as a tool in order to guide her family, Amin.
Also, my parents have been really easy on me lately, it's rather strange to experience. They allow me to stay out longer, and to be involved in more activities than before. This is definitely a Mercy from Allah, al-Hamdu liLlah for it, may He find me of the thankful.
subHan Allah, there are so many reasons to be thankful.
al-Hamdu liLlah for means of communication, it's such a blessing to think that someone could be far away and you are capable of talking to them. al-Hamdu liLlah, al-Hamdu liLlah, and always al-Hamdu liLlah.
Regardless of what happens, I hope Allah finds me of those who are patient and thankful. Things are going very smoothly for me these days, and this ease is worrying me... can life really be this pleasant? Isn't it supposed to be a prison? Why am I enjoying it all so much? ... these are just things to think about, and Rabbi Rahimun Wadud.
subHan Allah, I just hope don't let a moment pass in which I am not thankful. ya RAB.
