Today was such a lovely day al-Hamdu liLlah, the graduation ceremony was really nice!

When I went up and gave them my card so that they could read my name, I wrote under my name.. "Loves Mom & Dad".. and when I met the guy to call my name, I told him, "Please, please, please say that!!!"... AND HE DID!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! al-Hamdu liLlah

Then afterwards it was a little hard trying to find where my friends and family were, BUT fortunately one just had to listen and you hear the sound of a tubla playing!!! Once there it was very festive and lively! So many friends showed up, and I was overwhelmed with presents and flowers, that was incredibly thoughtful of them, such a lovely treat.

Pictures were taken from every direction, and so many flowers, and gifts, and... and... more pictures -smiles- I was smiling so much that when I rested my cheeks, and brought my smile down, I just couldn't, it was too difficult... hehe, al-Hamdu liLlah.

Now I'm home and there's going to be a family party soon, starting at 6 pm, but knowing how Arab are I'm really not expecting anyone here until like 7 - 7:30 pm...it's all good, maybe once all the cleaning and food preperation is done I can get some rest. I've been going on very little sleep for quite some time now, this is definitely not good. Good thing Summer is here, my body needs some rest, seriously.

I wore my hatta, I better be representing Palestinians, subHan Allah, ya Rabbi how my heart aches for them... and now that I think of it, I should have had a poster made that read 'FREE PALESTINE' and flashed it after they gave me the diploma, subHan Allah, I thought about that too late! Khayr, it's alright, it was not decreed. ... on second thought, there's a time for that, and there's a time for just graduating, subHan Allah, look at the production of tired thoughts.

Yea, I need some sleep, I'm going through this indecisive irrational worries phase, it'll pass, in sha' Allah... -smiles- khayr, sleep will come soon, in sha' Allah
