THE QUR'AN
2:2
This (Quran) is the Book, Whereof there is no doubt, A guidance for the God-fearing.
2:176
That is because Allah has sent down the Book (the Qur'an) in truth. And verily, those who disputed as regards the Book are far away in opposition.
3:3
It is He Who has sent down the Book (the Qur’an) to you (Muhammad) with truth, confirming what came before it. And he sent down the Tauraat (Torah) and the Gospel.
4:105
Surely, We have sent down to you the Book in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you, so be not a pleader for the treacherous.
6:114
[Say (O Muhammad)] "Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (The Qur'an), explained in detail." Those unto whom We gave the Scripture [the Torah and the Gospel] know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth. So be not you of those who doubt.
6:157
Or lest you (pagan Arabs) should say: "If only the Book had been sent down to us, we would surely have been better guided than they (Jews and Christians)." So now has come unto you a clear proof (the Qur'an) from your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy. Who then does more wrong than one who rejects the Signs of Allah and turns away therefrom? We shall requite those who turn away from Our Signs with an evil torment, because of their turning away (from them).
7:52
Certainly, We have brought to them a Book (the Qur'an) which We have explained in detail with knowledge, - a guidance and a mercy to a people who believe.
7:170
And as to those who hold fast to the Book and perform the prayer, certainly, We shall never waste the reward of those who do righteous deeds.
7:196
"Verily, my Protector is Allah Who has revealed the Book (the Qur'an), and He protects (supports and helps) the righteous.
11:1
Alif-Laam-Raa. (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allah), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things).
...... BY THE WAY, here's something interesting I noticed... you know how the Qur'an begins with Alif Lam Mim, or Alif Laam Raa... right after it does that the verse that follows is a verse that explains the authenticity of the Qur'an... like seriously I'm pretty sure it's like every single time!
2:1
الم
Alif-Lam-Mim.
2.
This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.
3:1
الم
Alif-Laam-Meem.
2.
Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.
3.
It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
7:1
Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad.
المص
2.
A Book revealed unto thee,- So let thy heart be oppressed no more by any difficulty on that account,- that with it thou mightest warn (the erring) and teach the Believers).
10:1

Alif-Laam-Raa. These are the Verses of the Book (the Qur'an) of the Divine Judgement.
11:1
Alif-Laam-Raa. (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allah), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things).
12:1
Alif-Laam-Raa. These are the Verses of the Clear Book (the Qur'an that makes clear the legal and illegal things, legal laws, a guidance and a blessing).
13:1
Alif-Laam-Meem-Raa. These are the Verses of the Book (the Qur'an), and that which has been revealed unto you (Muhammad) from your Lord is the truth, but most men believe not.
14:1
Alif-Laam-Raa. (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad) in order that you might lead humankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allah and Islamic Monotheism) by their Lord's Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.
15:1
Alif-Laam-Raa. These are the Verses of the Book, and a plain Qur'an.
subHan Allah, that's pretty cool....
This morning, I typed in "book" in the search engine mostly looking for what the Qur'an says about, well, the Qur'an. Technology is so cool that it allows me to do that, subHan Allah, we are all so fortunate for such a nifty search engine tool! Just reading through those verses made me realize how great of a miracle the Qur'an is in our lives. al-Hamdu liLlah for everything, the Qur'an is a comfort to the heart. I think what makes me so in awe of it is the perfection of it, it has it's own quality, I can read any book or article but nothing matches the QUALITY of the Qur'an, nothing matches its beauty, nothing. al-Hamdu liLlah

Okay? ... so what was the point of this? I'm not following.
They are all chapters that begin with a letter or string of letters (Qaf - Ta ha - Ya Sin - Ha Mim - Ha Mim, `Ayn Sin Qaf), followed by an ayah (or the rest of the first ayah) that talks about the Qur'an.
oh i see, that's what i thought it meant, but I wasn't sure if I was missing the point. -smiles-
Thank you very much for including those verses -smiles- jazakum Allahu khayrun.
wa iyyakum
